It's interesting to see how it quickly different technology can change your habits. I started this blog on a whim over a 24-hour layover at the airport in Baghdad because I was bored. Blogging might be leaving my life just as quickly as it entered. :) It's kind of annoying that private blogs won't show up on google reader because they are authenticated feeds.... and since most of my family that have blogs have made them private, its a pain to have to manually check them to add comments and such....
The most recent example of technology changing my habits is regarding picture taking. I used to bring my camera with me every time I went on a big trip somewhere, to birthday parties, big events and such-- but now that everyone just uploads their pictures to facebook and tags everyone, I've gotten lazy and I don't feel like I need to bring my camera along. I'll just look at everyone else's pictures. Since they are going to have their camera anyway, why should we all be snapping tons of pictures? why not just trade off taking pictures with a 1 or 2 cameras instead of 6 or 7 of them? Does anybody else do the same thing?

don't give up boy, don't you quit blogging. I read everyone of them however I rarely go to FB.
yes! I've become a loser in the blogging and picture taking and it is awful! I must get it together! Facebook is nice but it only gives little snips of what is going on. I enjoy your blog so keep going please!
Whatever. I'm really disliking everyone who has turned to facebook rather than blogs. You are lame. BUT, I do understand your laziness. It is so much easier to update your status on your meal for the day than to reflect on deeper concepts:)
I literally never go to facebook, you can't beat the simplicity of blogging. and the depth and uniqueness. I just like being able to get updates on folks. I go to your blog as a "portal" to other people's blogs b/c of your chronological widget. anyways, KEEP UP THE BLOG...or else...
Butit's like a journal and soooo much better than facebook. Especially when we don't live close!
