The Great Fall

I guess its about time that I post something again! I have a huge batch of pictures on my phone from the past year that I'll be posting over the next few days. I'll start with pics of the Great Fall of 2010, also known as the textured drywall incident. My dad slipped on the carpet of their house and took a fall at the bottom of the stairs last fall-- get it-- "the great fall"..... thankfully he wasn't really hurt, but unfortunately he rammed a huge hole in the drywall! I fixed it when I was home for Christmas and took some pictures documenting my handiwork. It was fun to have a project while I was there.

the hardest step was properly applying the "knockdown" texture

yay! Good to have you back! Nice work on the drywall, glad your dad wasn't badly hurt... looking forward to seeing more pictures. I am working on my 2009 history book and there is a picture of you attending doug and my babies blessing day. You're awesome.

You really did do a good job. Didn't even notice it when I was there!

This is Stan's least favorite part about living in an apartment --- no major projects. (Although I thought he would be set after that huge basement ceiling project in Colorado!)Nice job. The paint is a PERFECT match!
